            The course is designed to enhance students understanding of the world of Medical Coding through a fun filled learning approach of medical terminology and anatomy.

The focus is on the fundamentals of medical terminology through word structure: root words, prefixes and suffixes as it relates to organs, and body systems.

The course is conducted "live" via webinar with an Instructor to promote interactive learning.  

The course is conducted twice a week on Monday and Wedenesday for 5 weeks.

This course is a prerequiste for students enrolled in the Medical Coding Program or it can be taken as a stand alone course without the full program.

 

This course includes registration and materials for this course only.

If students continue on with the Medical Coding Program students are required to purchase additional materials / coding books seperatly and  additional tuition cost for coding portion of the program.

  • Students are required to successfully complete this course prior to enrolling in the Medical Coding Program.

    If students  enroll in the Medical Coding Program students are required to purchase additional materials / coding books  and pay additional tuition cost for the Medical Coding portion of the program.

    No tuition refunds if students to do not attend the course.

    Upon written request and approval from the Program Director students may attend the next session if uanble to attend after making tuition payment due to the no refund policy.
